![]() Dog training is as much about training the owner as it is training the dog. Personally I would look at 1 to 1 classes before going for a board and train. I would be wary of any trainer who does not use modern training methods. There is a reason why 'dominance' trainers like Barbara Woodhouse etc didn't like working with terriers and other independent breeds lol (spitz, hounds etc), they aren't going to work for no reward and do not take kindly to punishment based training. His style of training is rather 'old-school' and isn't going to as effective on dogs that aren't bred to be naturally obedient like Labradors, spaniels etc (which is why trainers like this tend to stick to these breeds).
